I don't really have anywhere else to go I'd like to keep this place together as much as we can till then but I can't really complain one way or another
we'll figure out a way we have the freaking norse gods on our side like if we were ever going to do it it'd be here
knowing them? no. but it's also not that easy they're stronger than us, sure, but not that strong. they get their power from us so on their own they're kind of useless

I don't think the gods really do know what they're doing, though they've got these ideas and these few rules on how things work but they're grasping for straws just like the rest of us
depending on where you hit and the timing, they can but the giants aren't the only things that come after us you need to know to protect yourself outside of your powers anyway
