[ jo listens and finds herself smiling a little. because when all else fails, buffy did always make her laugh. make her relax. and the idea of buffy flying is just ridiculous enough, but also possible enough to lighten the mood. ]

[ jo smiles when she sees buffy light up about sam, feels a fondness that's only really possible for family. for friends. she can only imagine what that reunion will be like.
but then it drops, falters, falls away. dean. ] He was uh- [ she ends up stepping a little away from buffy, needing a little space to deal with remembering just how much she misses him. ] He was here for a little bit, about two months ago. He didn't remember anything, and was gone a few days later. [ she forces a smile after that, like it doesn't bother her that dean isn't here. like it doesn't matter. ] But it's fine. He always hated it more than the rest of us.
I doubt if I'll ever go with a secret identity. The secret's pretty out anymore.
